Angus B. C. is a highly motivated talent partner with over 8 years of experience in technical recruiting, G&A recruiting, and executive search. His expertise lies in partnering with business and engineering leaders to scale their high-performing teams through strategic, inclusive recruiting methods. Angus is currently working as a Technical Talent Partner for Machine Learning & AI Leadership at Apple, where he leads the search efforts to engage and hire exceptional leaders for AI/ML teams including Siri and Language Technologies, ML Platform & Technology, Data & ML Innovation, AI/ML Product Management, and AI/ML Annotations. Prior to joining Apple, Angus was the first employee at Talent Distillery, an executive search & management consulting firm, where he partnered with the co-founders to build out the research & development arm of the firm. Angus also operated as a talent consultant to their clients and led pipeline development to engage the best people leaders in multiple disciplines of HR. Angus has worked with clients across industries like technology (i.e. Platforms, Blockchain, Emerging Tech) and tech hybrids (i.e. HealthTech, EdTech, AgriTech, etc.). Before joining Talent Distillery, Angus was a key hire for the inception of the Research & Sourcing team at Frederickson Partners (previously known as Frederickson Pribula Li). Angus worked closely with two senior partners on multiple projects while serving as a lead for this new initiative. The majority of Angus's time was dedicated to sourcing strategy development and talent mapping projects while also connecting with the most dynamic People/HR Leaders in major global markets. Angus has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State Polytechnic University. Angus has expertise in AI, ML, Search, Research Scientist, Blockchain, product manager, iOS, and Backend.
